No attendance record will be kept. However, you are responsible for all material discussed in class and you must turn all assignments in on time. Late assignments will not be accepted. If you miss class, please have someone take notes for you and pick up copies of handouts distributed in class. Please refer to Assignment Policy for detailed information.
Exams will be based on lecture materials and reading assignments. All students must take both exams at the scheduled times. If, due to an emergency, you must miss an exam, you must talk to me PRIOR to the exam date. Only documented excuses adhering to VCU policies will be accepted. It is your responsibility to provide me with the appropriate documentation. No make-up exam will be given for Exam #1. If you miss Exam #2, you must schedule and take a make-up exam within one week from the originally scheduled exam date. Please refer to Exam Policy for detailed information.
